Very interesting site with searchable records of numerous churches of Scotland.

Historical Indexes
Searchable indexes and collections held in the Dumfries and Galloway archives.

Scots Genealogy
The site for the Scottish Genealogy Society based in Edinburgh. Look in 'Family Histories'. If your surnames are on the list, send a request to the volunteers for research assistance.

Scottish Wills
Pat Burnett's website of searchable 16th and 17th century Scottish wills.

Ross and Cromarty Counties
Look for parish records within the Online Records section.

Kinross-Shire County
Go to the 1841 census of Kinross for real parish indexes and other helpful information for researchers.

Isle of Islay
This is a wonderful Rootsweb site full of searchable registers, cemetery databases, raw data, etc. My ancestor was not from this area of Scotland but I love this site!

Buteshire Scotland Genealogy
I found the list for the individual researcher's home sites very interesting.

Berwickshire County
Very good site, especially for cemetery transcriptions.

The Scottish Page
A very helpful site for the Dumfries-Galloway which includes Dumfries, Wigtown and Kidcudbright.

Skipness Parish
If your ancestor was from this parish in Argyllshire, you will find wonderful indexes and records.
